Refund & cancellation policy

Last updated: 29 July 2026. This policy applies to paid professional engagements with Future APIQ for multi-entity consolidation audit preparation and related services described on this site. It does not cover goods, subscriptions, or software licences, which we do not sell.

Eligibility

Refunds are considered when an engagement is cancelled under the conditions below, or when we are unable to deliver the agreed scope for reasons within our control. Informal estimate requests submitted through the website carry no charge and no refund scenario.

Timeframe

Cancellation notices should be sent in writing to [email protected]. Refund requests should be raised within 14 days of the event giving rise to the request (for example, cancellation confirmation or missed delivery milestone).

Deposits

Engagements usually require a deposit stated in the engagement letter (commonly 40%). If you cancel more than 14 days before the scheduled kick-off, the deposit is refundable minus any documented prep work already performed, billed at the specialist day rate. Cancellations within 14 days of kick-off forfeit the deposit unless we reassign the reserved dates to another client.

Full or partial refunds

If we cancel an engagement before substantial work begins, fees paid are refunded in full. If work has started and you cancel, we invoice for hours and deliverables completed to date and refund any unused prepaid balance. Fixed-fee readiness assessments cancelled after kick-off but before report delivery may receive a partial refund reflecting unfinished stages.

Non-refundable items

Completed deliverables already accepted by you (for example, a finished consolidation package or readiness report) are non-refundable. Third-party costs expressly approved by you (such as courier of working papers) are non-refundable once incurred.

Work already started

Draft worksheets, mapping tables, and partial binders remain billable for the effort incurred. Upon settlement of outstanding fees, you may receive copies of work completed to that date.

Rescheduling

You may reschedule kick-off once without fee if notice is given at least 7 days in advance and a mutually available window exists within 60 days. Later or repeated reschedules may incur a rescheduling charge of up to one specialist day.

No-shows

If a scheduled on-site or video workshop does not proceed because client attendees are absent without 24 hours’ notice, that session is charged as delivered.

Refund process & method

Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method where possible, or by bank transfer to a Taiwanese account you nominate. Processing time with banks may add several days.

Contact for refund requests

Email [email protected] with your engagement reference, reason for the request, and preferred refund method. Phone: +886227691169. Office: 5FNo.88Sec.1Nei-huRd.TaipeiTaiwan(China).

Exceptions

Statutory rights that cannot be waived under Taiwanese law remain available. Engagement letters may set additional commercial terms that apply alongside this policy; where they conflict on fees for a specific engagement, the signed letter prevails.
